Here you can find examples of the kinds of short film we know children have seen, enjoyed, and learned from. They will tend to represent a wider world of film culture than children are maybe used to – films from all over the world, and from the past. We aim to have a mix of animation, live action, fiction and documentary. Live action shorts are especially valued as children tend to see far more animation than live action film.
With short films as with any kind of text, we would always recommend teachers watching first, and checking their suitability. The films we put here will be appropriate for most KS2 classes (in England; ages 7-11)
